“Environmental Strategies for Treatment, Recovery and Prevention: A New Community” Workshop
July 18-20, 2011

CCoVA has an excellent opportunity to share what it has learned through the implementation of environmental strategies. Wayne Frith, CCoVA Chair, has been invited to present a half day workshop at the Virginia Summer Institute for Addiction Studies in Williamsburg on July 18-20, 2011. The workshop will focus on the applicability of the Drug Free Communities' Environmental Strategies Model for treatment groups and recovery groups as well as prevention professionals. Participants will learn how collaborative implementation of the model across all substance abuse disciplines will yield better outcomes for treatment and recovery clients as well as prevention coalitions.”
